Midweek Reflection
This is Day-I don’t even know how to say this. It is the 24th day since we went into official quarantine in the state. The Virus hit the state in early March. Monday afternoon we received an email from supervisor informing us that a colleague has been diagnosed with having the virus. They have been working on campus and have come into proximity of others. Now my sister is saying “I told you so”. Not really. I had made the decision to stay home before this came out.
On Tuesday 8 Shop rite employees have been tested and confirmed to have the virus. It’s the same store I go to a lot. I was there most recently over the weekend. I see it’s the same for the Lehigh Valley Shoprite too.
When I am in the house I have been spending time watching TV, doing laundry, and writing letters. I have had a few doctor’s appointments, and attended some online meetups.
AS I suspected I didn’t have my infusion. Dr. Sonia called me while I was about to find out if they would accept me but she told me to go home. Late this afternoon I called Employee health and asked advised them and they said I would have to monitor myself and self-quarantine for the next two weeks. Gave me a list of symptoms and included Diarrhea. Which I did have been I figured it was food that didn’t agree with me. They said extraordinary times.
I have attended our Town Hall meetings from the YM CEO and a couple of staff meetings on Zoom. I have one tomorrow.
So I let a few people know the current status and Sis has asked me not to post it to FB. I suspect she didn’t want me to put it anywhere on the net but I am going to ignore her.
So I will be spending my time writing letters, taking walks online chats, and sleeping and every day chores until this ends.
