I spoke to my supervisor today and told him that I may have to reconsider coming in to the office right now. I explained that my with my health challenge that my family was concerned for me. Apparently he was thinking about it too. He spoke to ED SR and she agreed and said it would be okay that I don’t come in until they call me in. When I left for home I called both J and L and they were relieved and then I called Mama R and told her the same thing.
The daily updates continue each day. As of this morning the President said this week will be the most difficult and saddest. That's just great. Among some of the updates I Heard was the municipalities are asking residents to wear masks and gloves when out in public. That would be great except not everyone can get gloves or masks. My Thoughts are if I am 6 feet away it will be fine.
I haven’t read any of the updates from work. I feed if they don’t pertain directly to our department then why bother. There will be another Town Hall on Wednesday so that’s when I will listen to it.
I tried to get Clorox Wipes and couldn’t get them anywhere. I even tried to order on Amazon and they are giving Healthcare priority. It has been suggested to do my own DYI or just use Window or Ammonia and water or something.
I also heard from my sister and later by an article in Patch that the USPS is considering closing in June until the Corona Virus passes. IF that’s the case I am going to have to ask my pen pals to email me when that happens.
I stopped at the UPS store and scanned my pal Betty’s letter scanned to my email so I could put it in her file. I will start her later tonight as well.
It is an absolutely gorgeous day. When I left the office the temperatures were in the low 60s. So when I got home I turned the thermostat off and started opening all the windows in the house. I will keep them open until later on the evening.
I had my hematologist appointment and everything is good. No signs of the blood clot and the numbers are good as well. Iron level still needs work though.
Well I think I will go for a walk and get my steps up….
