It’s funny whenever anyone tells me I look as though I lost weight and or when I do lose the weight I seem to sabotage it by eating something I shouldn’t. On Saturday night after a successful day at the gym (took two later classes and had a’s PT training session and had a successful weigh in) I had ordered two lobster rolls from a restaurant near the house. My intention was to put them on a salad. I didn’t go that far but I also ate the fries. On Sunday I had fish, ribs, and boneless wings and nuts. My steps for Saturday are a blur but Sunday’s was not very many (2000+). I didn’t make it to the gym either.
I did register for a couple of classes for the next couple of days. A’s class is a waiting list. I will wait before I decide to cancel it.
I had a great time at the card game even though I was putting a lot of assumptions on one of game partners. We played until 5 (I think they played longer) but I needed to get home. I fed the kitties and the dinner I mentioned earlier and realized there was nothing on TV I went to bed very early. The kitties eventually followed, and I dozed off listening to the same public radio shows I had heard on my way home from the game. I was waiting to hear the radio program I listen to most Saturday nights, but I am sure I did fall asleep through that too.
I woke up Sunday morning by 3 or 4 and muddled around on the computer. Eventually I got up did our routine and laid down for some time. When I got up I did some laundry and worked on some pen pal stuff. I almost forgot I put some stuff on market place. Not many reactions but neither do I think I did it right. I am not doing anything that means I have to put more money out.
I decided to catch up with Liz and that was a great time (even though BIL was acting a little weird). I can’t tell if he is just kidding with me or because of the injuries from the fall years ago. We talked about family stuff, and eventually around to finances. I shared the stories about the car payment short change, but I didn’t share about the cable, or the credit card.
We also touched on the house. I believe I told her I don’t want to clean out the house, I don’t want to put the house up and I want to stay there. Not sure if said it in that way but I have been volleying about it all week. I know there are things I want to get rid of, but I don’t want to be doing it by myself. The house needs work, but can I afford it is the question right now. The discussion was about things we wanted to do, could do, needed to have done.
After that visit I headed home with the stop to Adams. I fed the cats when I came in and I ate my dinner. I finished hanging the laundry before it got too late and then eventually went to bed.
Oh, I was working on pen pal’s hobby. I heard from Becca in Florida on Sunday and responded with a long email. It prompted me to send one to Karyn in Co and then looked over some of the friendship books Rebecca in OH sent me on Friday. I have a letter ready to go to a woman in Canada and I am looking over some more. I am fully aware that I should be writing to those I haven’t heard from in a while or haven’t written to in some time. That will come in time.
The weather this weekend was very cold. Cold enough to have snow showers in some places. I was in Wallingford when it came down but by the time I was home the sun shining and flakes gone. Sunday was sunshine and in mid-40’s.
Today it’s in the 50’s as I write this, and it supposed to go down to 30’s tonight. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow and sunshine until Friday.
