It is a beautiful Sunday
The sun is shining and it is 75 degrees out and will climb to the 80’s by 10. I am glad we are not in the throws of Hurricane Barry as New Orleans is currently experiencing it. It was a category 1 as of yesterday. There is a lot of rainfall that’s affecting the levee’s down there. I am trying to see if there are any blogs written during it but they are all from news outlets and weather sites. We won’t be getting any rain until Wednesday I believe. I am wondering if we will get any hurricanes. I like watching the storms but I don’t like the damage it could inflict.
I ended up staying in bed until 6:30 so I haven’t been on my early morning walk. I still might do it before it gets too hot. Or I might do it later on in the day near dinner time like I did yesterday and earlier this week. I have to say I really do enjoy walking. You get to see how other people live, decorate, what the memories and activities have been.
I also wanted to clean the refrigerator before I go grocery shopping but now I don’t have the energy to do that one either. I am hoping it won’t take long to do like most of the things I do around here. When I was younger I had a job to do the bathroom it is not that big but I would make it an all day event. I can’t even tell you how big it is (enough for a bathtub, sink, toilet and a couple of cabinets). It wasn’t my favorite thing to do. Yes i realize no one likes cleaning the bathroom. Now there are two bathrooms. THe point is I drag things out. Maybe this time I won’t.
I am not really planning much for the afternoon really. Early afternoon I have bingo and that will last until 3 and then grocery shopping. Since i have most of the laundry done (almost) won’t do anymore of that for a couple of days.
There are some letters I need to finish as well. There are some letters I need to even start. I have to do some pen paling soon.
This week is the usual busyness. I have a Doctor’s appointment tomorrow afternoon, the infusion on Wednesday. The gym most of this week and a Meetup activity on Wednesday.
