Dear Mom
Dear Mom,
Its been very cold and rainy in the last couple of days. Cold yesterday and rain today. I am not sure what the rest of the week brings. It definitely is winter.
I spent most of yesterday working and getting ready for the endoscopy today. There wasn’t much preparation for it. I couldn’t eat after midnight. I went to bed early.
Today Liz picked me up after 7:30 and we got to the clinic in plenty of time. I signed in and discovered my ID holder was not in my pocket book. I am hoping its at my desk at work Anyway, I got prepped for the procedure. I was brought into the room and they got me all set up and the next thing I knew I was in recovery. The Doctor came in and said everything is normal. I have to wait on biopsis. We were back home by 11. Liz went home and I did some laundry and made some calls and spent the rest of the time relaxing and have lunch.
The rest of the afternoon was quiet and I just had cereal for dinner and finished the laundry. I am just starting to get warmed up. I am probably going to bed early.
This weekend looks like I will be busy. Saturday is the Sing-along at the nursing home. It should be fun. The residents really get a kick out of it too. Liz says we got an invitation to attend another memorial this time from the funeral home for the holidays. That’s on Sunday afternoon. We will be getting ornaments with your name on it.
Well I am going to sleep i am tired and I am pretty sure I will be busy tomorrow.
