Dear Mom

Dear MOm,

The sun is shining so brightly but the wind is really strong.  I guess its going to be like this for the day.

I left here sometime after 9.  As I was driving to the gas station my phone was busy.  Two text message and a call from Liz.  I decided to pull over for the text messages.  Nancy would like me to watch Preston and Packy from December 23 to January 2.  We will meet the week before they leave and go over any instructions or new rules for the pups.  As I have said I was entertaining the thought of bringing them here but they are collectively old and not well.  I believe it would traumatize them if I did that so we will stay at their home.

For some reason Liz thought I called her this morning so when I got to the gas station I called her back.  I told her how I got a call from Roberta’s phone at 2 am this morning.    We joked that peoples phones wanted me to know they were thinking of me.  We talked about the house sitting job and  told her about my games last night.  I told her how much I ate last night.  I guess I wanted to let her know that I was eating.   We joked that it didn’t kill me (the salt).  We talked about seeing each other later on this afternoon.

I got to Bingo sometime after 9:30.  NAtalie was there and one of the other recreation  staff and eventually all the volunteers were there.  We had a full house of residents today.  We played until 11.  It went pretty well.  I got caught up with Lynn Y.  SHe is the SIL of a girl I knew back in Elementary school.  I don’t think their relationship is great but who does?

When I got home I was going to just hang out.  I had to remind myself I had some things to do (banking, phone call making, and bill paying).  I have done those for now so I am going to relax and watch some TV before I go off to Liz and Nelson’s.  I will also get some laundry done too.

But for now I can’t keep my eyes open...

volunteering, weather, health, time change
