Late Day Rain 9/29/2024
Well, the rain came late in the day as predicted. It wasn’t much but it lasted well after I went to sleep. It was pretty much the same today too. I ended up not going to the porch fest after all. I can’t help but wonder if that was a mistake or not.
The rest of the day I did a few things but mostly watched TV. I made a meatloaf, and a couple of hamburgers. I did laundry and finished it today.
I heard from Sis around 1 yesterday and she sent a picture of the youngest kids. With the “Arrived Safely”. This morning, she sent several pictures of the kids. They were great. She is supposed to come home tomorrow sometime but I don’t know if that’s going to be possible. It depends on the airline.
My Brother Jim and Janis had a visit from our Niece Diane and Her husband Rogier yesterday and they sent me a picture of their visit. I think that’s great.
I ended up not going to bingo today. I got sick after I took my meds. I can’t say if it was because I didn’t take them yesterday or if I had food or coffee before taking them. I will try and go next week.
I did manage to eat later in the day with no problems. I had steak, coffee, and late in the day I had mac and cheese with Lobster. I got the small serving (able to get two helpings).
I ordered groceries for tomorrow. I just didn’t feel like getting them this weekend and I will be too tired to pick them up so they should be here between 5-7.
Tomorrow night I must work on my budget. There are a few things I didn’t write down on the ledgers, but I will do it tomorrow.
Now its late and I need to go to bed.
