The last thing we want to do is often the best thing for us. There's no hard and fast rule for this, but it's always good to look at whether or not what we avoid like the plague might be just what the doctor ordered. At the moment you may not be entirely OK with this. At the same time, you're smart enough to see that it presents you with a way out that wasn't there before. Dr. appointment in about two hours. Hopefully, he'll just tell my I'm too fat for my own damn good and please leave a check with the receptionist. Another alternative could be that I'm impregnated with one of those bizarre alien babies that rip their way out of the womb. I'm not certain that fatness should hurt like this, and I don't remember doing the last alien that I met, but who knows?
Hubby's been trying to cheer me up all day by playing Joplin and the Beatles. Good guy, him.
