Come away with me to Lyvenia...
The world of Lyvenia has been with me since I was seventeen. I didn't know much about it at first, I only knew some of its characters: a few heroes, a few villains. It was during the writing and rewriting of my first novel that I allowed my characters to tell me their stories. I learned about where they came from, where their parents came from, how their world changed with each new generation. I created more and more characters until I needed a database to keep track of them all. I had a series on my hands, a task that overwhelmed me. That novel is now on temporary hiatus, as I have decided to begin at the beginning.
The Lyvenia Series begins with a young girl named Corynne. WITCH is a story of forbidden love that turns into obsession. It is also the origin story to my magnum opus.
I have decided to use the Sims 2 as a medium to tell this story because I think it is a wonderful way to capture the emotions and scenes in a single frame and to share the with people so that they may see what I see (for the most part at least). Also, because I am addicted. It is not my usual inclination to share my writing with other people, but when a story remains inside of you for so long, it tries to claw its way out. Stories demand to be heard, and I will not keep mine to myself any longer.
