TaranTUESDAY, 0812.
As of 1:30pm Tuesday last week, I along with 49 other peeps got laid off at Spot Runner :( Company "restructuring" daw.... http://www.mediabistro.com/agencyspy/we_hear/breaking_spotrunner_lays_off_54100_companys_future_uncertain_due_to_google_competition_91516.asp
It's nice that they gave us severance though....

Oh well, so now I have become a statistic. I've filed for unemployment benefits (yah, I've been putting hecka-lotta money in this government so it's time to cash out some...)...
Damn that Bush and his friggin' war...

My initial thought was - with no job, no band, maybe The Universe is kicking me out to NYC after all. HAHA.

Currently updating my reel... looking for jobs and gigs here and there online... let's see how things pan out.

Auditioned and got into this band called Honeybreath. Dreampop... brings back Sugar Hiccup, Daydream Cycle, Candy Audioline, etc.. you know, that circle.... They're pretty cool, laid back, "i just want to play" type of band... mature adults (so done w/ kids, LOL) Check them out http://www.myspace.com/honeybreath

Watched Smoking Popes at the Knitting Factory with Jeff. We were all the way in the middle front part of the stage. Josh C. was an arm's-length away. ANG GALING NILA!! He was also so good at playing lead.. sometimes even better than Eli (oops..hehe). Ah basta! Their third song was Rubella.

smoking popes, spot runner, jobs, nyc, bush, honeybreath, unemployment
