Last saturday had the band (Half Past Two) open for Reel Big Fish at House of Blues, Anaheim.
- ebidensha: isked. they mispelled our name though. it should've been "two" instead of the digit...
We also shared the bill with Starpool - the boys from Save Ferris (minus Monique), and this time with a male vocalist.
- the snakey line to the sold-out show...
- soundsseck... i used the house kit - sounded sweet!
- 6 of 8 members
- our merch, at dooper affordable prices!... we also had cute polar bear plushies for sale (you can see its paws in the back/upper left & the top of its head on the right).
It was a wonderful show. We were loved (hehe). A lot of people bought our stuff (hoorah for us). They also had us autograph their CDs (the cover or the disc itself) and shirts.
It's also cool how Aaron Barrett (and other members of RBF & Starpool) watched our whole set backstage.
Reel Big Fish, well, the back & side view of the band (hehe)
Flashback: I remember back in '04, Lyle (Sacris) was vacationing here and was staying in Anaheim. We watched RBF in the same place. I bought the tie, embroidered w/ the band logo, that night (w/c I wore to last saturday's show).
A few years before that, I got hooked on the band from hanging out w/ Lyle's band, Moyg. I've jammed w/ them a few times on some RBF songs too (hehe).
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I'd get to meet them, or even get to share the stage with them! haaayyyy...
And Aaron mentioned/promoted the band during their set so many times too! double haaaayyyy...
They were GREAT!
They were clearly having a good time on stage - with their antics, banter/chatter, jokes, etc.. Scott (back-up vox, trumpet, guitar) reminded me of DiegoCas... Aaron just rocked the guitar - and mic with his singing & funny spiels.
The set-list:
Highlight of the evening: our vocalist, Tara, singing the female parts in RBF's "She Has A Girlfriend Now". Woohoo!
