Mrs. Cotton in kindergarden. Memorable because she checked out the Big Kid's books on Helen Keller because Nova had a stupid rule about not letting K-kids check out anything but baby book...thanks to mommy teaching me to read at age 2, I was way past Amelia Bedelia and Mrs. Cotton saw that. :)
6. What was the first single you ever bought?
Mickey (as in "oh Mickey you're so fine..."). I danced around the house with my Mickey Mouse doll.

8. Have you ever been in a band?
One in 9th grade. It was called Potter's Field (ooh! 15 year old ennui!) and I was the lyricist and lead singer. Everything we did sounded like "Sober" by Tool. Everything.

I go in stages. Right now its the Bath and Body Works Pomegranate scent and my mother's Poison

Too hard. Right now I'm listening to Regina Spector and a lot of mixes.
18. If you could go back in time - which period would you go back to?
The 19th century because it would be interesting if I didn't die immediately from my own bodily stench. Failing that, I'm going to have to borrow a page from Kid's book, and say high school. I would go back with the confidence of a 28 year old and use it. A lot. With boys of questionable character.

Babysitting for a child I wanted to strangle in a cig smoke filled home. I would go home, take off my watch and actually see the yellow scum on the rest of my arm.

Any tube station in England or New York. Florida doesn't do mass transit, baby.
