Character Name: Principality of Wy | Matilda Kelly

Character Age: Technically Wy has only been "recognized" for five years (almost six), but she looks about twelve.
Background: History of Wy, and the strips she's in.
Basically, Paul and his family wanted to build a road near their house and the government said fine but then declared it a bushland, therefore making it illegal to build anything there. The family got frustrated and declared their land a country named Wy. The Australian government "recognized" it, but it hasn't seceded from Australia or NSW. No one really knows what that means.
Personality:
Wy is a young Australian girl who, at first glance, seems bossy and spoiled. Australia usually lets her do what she wants and gives her what she asks for, which causes her spoiled behavior. However, at the same time, she believes that she is a recognized, independent country and tries to act like the mature adult she believes she is. She wants everyone to view her as cool and mature, but with her constant demands, no one really believes her. She even tells everyone she's fifty instead of six, mainly because her prince, Paul, insists that Wy was created in 1960 with a painting. Along with her bossy personality, she has to have even the smallest things go her way. Things like that poems must rhyme and that art is the best, though most of these thoughts come from her prince, but she believes every word of them. She's strong-willed and won't give up on her demands if she really wants something, though she's able to compromise but pretends like it's what she wants instead.
A skilled artist, Wy believes in the beauty of nature and loves Australian wildlife. She paints best in her garden which she has decorated with flowers and trees; many animals hang out there, but her favorite is her pet ring tail possum, Archy Wyld. Wy believes that creativity is one of the most important things you can have and scoffs at people who she deems uncreative. She knows that she's extremely talented with painting and takes herself very seriously because of it, often boasting to people about her talent. She also has taken an interest in astronomy and is awaiting the day Hi Wy, the Wy satellite, will be sent off into space. When she's not doing that, she enjoys her freedom... Even if she's not technically free.
As said before, Wy enjoys boasting about her freedom and being recognized as a country, viewing Sealand and Seborga, two micronations, as just annoying kids who bother her all the time. She hates that she's often grouped into the same class as them and will complain about it at great length. She's really just a teenager who doesn't want to leave "home" but wants her independence. She also acts like a teenager, running her mouth and not being afraid of coming across as rude to others as long as she gets her point across. She won't hesitate to mouth off at anyone who calls her a kid or doubts her maturity, though she doesn't realize she's not helping her case much. She seems like a bit of a tomboy outwardly, but she's quite girly on the inside and it shows in her painting and designs.
She does realize she's not succeeded from Australia and has no plans to in the future, content with how things are now. She's not very motivated towards that and just lets Australia handle everything, getting whatever she wants in return. She's also smart enough to know that she shouldn't try to crash world meetings or cause a big amount of trouble, knowing that it's not her place. She does take a few characteristics from Australia, such as love of wildlife, unfortunate eyebrows, energy and a general Australian attitude. She's learned mostly everything from him as she doesn't have much culture of her own, but she's alright with this because she is actually quite fond of Australia as a brother/father-thing (though she would never say father) and they get along splendidly.
Abilities: She's a "recognized" country, so the normal country abilities apply. She's good with animals, mainly the scary ones from Australia, and is a skilled artist.
