~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Sunao is just a regular human. No special powers, super strength, etc. But, he does have a great ability to lie and act extremely well. He’s also a trap.
How would they use their abilities?: Sunao can be pretty manipulative and if he needs to convince someone of something, he’ll act innocent until they believe him.
Appearance: Sunao is a very feminine-looking boy with long, pink hair, and even pink eyes to match! He’s also very thin and frail, no athletic ability at all. To top it all off, he’s shorter than average; about 5’2”.
His split personality, Ran, looks much the same. When he takes charge Sunao’s hair becomes slightly darker and his eyes turn red.
Background/Personality: When Sunao was a child he was fairly happy. He often spent his time with his best friend Sora Hashiba, his other friend Matsuri Honjou and his surrogate parents Minato Shinichiro and Nanami Kai. One day, though, Sunao and Sora were kidnapped and taken to a laboratory. There, they were tortured and experimented on. Eventually, Sora created a split personality named Yoru, who would deal with the pain of being tortured so Sora wouldn’t have to. Yoru instructed Sunao on how to create one and eventually Ran was born. Not much is ever really said about Sunao in the lab, any detail we get is usually about Ran. Ran was extremely frightened when he was first created and attacked Yoru, but eventually Yoru calmed him down and was even the one to name him. Ran became extremely attached to Yoru, probably because Yoru was the only social interaction he ever really had and because Yoru protected him from the scientists.
But one night, Nanami and Shinichiro broke into the lab and attempted to rescue Sora and Sunao. As they were escaping, Sunao tripped and hurt his foot. Since he wasn’t able to walk, and scientists were running toward them, Shinichiro picked up Sora and they left Sunao behind.
Since then, Sunao was told by the man who kidnapped them, Aizawa, that Sora left him behind and didn’t care about him. Sunao eventually came to hate Sora and worked with Aizawa on a plot to break him. He would go to Sora’s school and gain everyone’s trust, including making Sora fall in love with him so that he would be able to use mind control on him and essentially destroy his life.
Because of all that, Sunao is obviously not the most mentally sound character. In fact, he’s fairly insane but not past the point of recovery. He’s also very socially awkward and has a hard time talking to people, so he prefers to be left alone. Not to mention he is the stereotypical tsundere. He has a bad temper and is not afraid of using violence (no matter how physically weak he is) to get people to leave him alone.
Ran, on the other hand, is pretty much the exact opposite of Sunao. He never had much social interaction with anyone except Yoru from the time he was created to the time Sunao went to Sora’s school. Firstly, this means he is also socially awkward but he deals with it in different way than Sunao. He enjoys talking to people sometimes, if he can get them to entertain him, but they usually just end up annoying him. On the flip side, people don’t usually enjoy talking to him because he’s, well, annoying, spoiled and bossy. Secondly, this also means he developed an obsession with Yoru. Yes, they’re in love and Yoru has a bit of an obsession with him too, but Ran is much farther gone. The only person he cares about besides himself is Yoru. This is why he doesn’t mind annoying people, or even care about Sunao. If you’re not Yoru, you won’t get anything from Ran. Obviously, he’s not the smartest and doesn’t know all that much about the world, except for what Yoru has told him.
Why do you want to continue their history here: Sunao/Ran had many cracky times back in dramadramaduck.
