I used to hate it when all my LJ friends dropped off LJ for weeks at a time, and now look what I'm doing? But I'm caught up, yay! Now to catch you guys up on me, in a format I'm mostly stealing from kelleah:

Things I like right now...

-Wii Fit: My parents got me (and by extension, Matt) a Best Buy gift certificate for Christmas, to buy a Wii Fit with. Well ( Read more... )

Gese, I kinda gave up on LJ altogether, so don't feel bad. I've got my other blog & I'm putting all my energy into that these days, so that's my excuse.

I'm glad you've found a kitchen gadget that is a serious multi-tasker ;) And that Wii Fit and Scrivner... you are all gadgetted out now aren't you? LOL

I missed Supernatural so much. It truly is one of the most idiosyncratic shows out there right now. I have cut down on many things in the last few years. I decided one day, "Hey, if I'm not having fun watching this, why am I watching this?" and I judge everything that way now.

I definitely feel the generational thing happening. My dad is such a casual TV watcher (except for 24, of course) so when he defends Leno's comedic ability (nonexistant), it's in a sucha lame, "I don't really care about Late Night TV I just want some white noise to make me fall asleep" kind of way, and I want to DIE because I actually CARE and watch my Late Night programming for the pure entertainment of it! Leno watchers don't REALLY care, they just want to go back to the status quo because they're boring. On the other hand, we're fighting for someone we actually wish to NOT FALL ASLEEP TO every night. If NBC wants to cater to people who FALL ASLEEP to their programming, so be it. They are uber lame.

And Conan's Strike Beard was beautiful. So... glorious. Best moment from the strike: Conan in sequins, playing rockabilly guitar w/ the band. He has such a lovely singing voice. *sigh* Okay, I'm done now.
