One of the bloggers I read (Kung Fu Monkey) asked his readers to post the movie/tv show/band/book, etc that you couldn't stop begging your friends to read/watch/listen to in 2008.
My list:
Book(s): The Lies of Locke Lamorra by Scott Lynch and the followup book, which Kung Fu Monkey tipped me off to.
Music: Los Campesinos!
TV: Supernatural, as always.
Movie: The Fall, directed by Tarsem. The most amazing film I've seen in years (heck the only film I've been passionate about in years), and the only film to come out in '08 that I saw three times in the theatre.
