This makes me sad. Sorry Caity - I know you love him, but seriously? I've heard people make comments like this about ADD, and I can kind understand those comments, but autism? It's a confirmed medical diagnosis, not something you make up for sympathy. I have a cousin who's autistic, and there's no make believe going on. Oh well, I guess Leary'll get slapped straight soon enough by all the activist groups who are raising a huge stink.
Tonight I'm going to the Magic Castle in Hollywood (my first time!) thanks to one of Matt's coworkers. I'm super excited, and I'm going to try to see how long I can last before making an Arrested Development reference...
And this weekend I'm driving to Tucson with Matt for his friend's sister's wedding. Now that work has finally calmed down enough for me to remember my own name (more on that later in a locked post), I'm starting to look forward to it a lot. I'll get to see the house he grew up in, have breakfast with his dad and step-mom, see all his haunts in Tucson, meet even more of his friends, and enjoy a blissful 7 hr drive - twice. ;) Yeah, not too keen on the drive, but with Matt in the car I think it'll be a lot of fun!
