Elfquest!
So recently I was talking to someone about these comics I read as a very young child. They were awesome! I spent hours doodling the characters and dreaming about the world, not to mention *cough* possibly dressing up as my favorite character. Hey, I was six! When I moved to Florida I had trouble finding them so I fell out of touch, but thanks to ACIN I discovered two things today!
1) They're making a movie!
2) You can read old issues FOR FREE on the website! They have all the old graphic novels that I loved as a child!
So I'm reading them in bits and pieces at work, and again marveling that a comic book filled with sex, violence, and nudity, was checked out of the library by a 6 year old with no one raising a finger. Ahh....public libraries. And misconceptions about comics. Too funny.
