Google geekery and finals, huzzah.

So I've almost talked myself into the exorbitant purchase of a Mac computer. I appreciated all of your feedback on the matter, though it seems my final conclusion runs counter to much of the advice I received. I'm currently leaning toward the 24-inch (2.93GHz) iMac, as mobility is low on my list of priorities, while processing power and screen real-estate are high. (Naturally, Apple-hipness is also high on the list.)

However, the price-point is a little hard to swallow. Also, I recently discovered an intriguing new Linux OS, which has integrated much of Google's multiplicity of cloud applications. gOS, as it's called, is actually causing me to consider getting a snazzy PC setup and then partitioning it for Linux/Windows.

In other, less geeky news, it's that glorious time again. Finals are just around the bend, and everything is coming due... all at once. The biggest thing I have going on is a research paper for my Mass Media Law class. I'm thinking positive thoughts, but I really should get cracking on that, haha. Aside from that, I've got a website project that to wrap up within the next couple of weeks, a portfolio & resume to update and... a couple of tests to take.

It could be much worse. In any event, there are about three weeks left of class, plus a week of finals. Why... there's light at the end of this tunnel!
