Fish in the sea, you know how I feel.

It's so good to be home. I have a lot to do in the next few days, but I'm glad. I need to keep productive.

· Register for classes (actually did this today)
· Get a job (started working on this today)
· Clean out closet (will work on this tonight)
· Clean room
· Unpack
· Rearrange/redecorate room
· Read my books :)

So I went to the library yesterday. I had to put some of the books I wanted on hold, as they were checked out at the time, but here are the ones I came away with (in the order in which I plan to read them):

"Stumbling On Happiness" by Daniel Gilbert
"The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards
"Atonement" by Ian McEwan

I would also love to do more photography this summer. I would really love to do that... And maybe take up painting again.

I think part of what I've been feeling lately is a sense of creative and cultural stagnation and mediocrity. I haven't really accomplished anything in the last several months, have I? What of art? What of literature? I'm even at a disconnect from current events and politics. My university experience has largely been a matter of making the grades. Essentially, it's deprived me of my education. ;)

No... honestly, I've gained a lot in the last year. I just think I didn't put myself into it whole-heartedly, and I think I let things get in the way. It's not easy to make time for everything.

Anyhow, life is good. I have everything ahead of me; I'm very optimistic.
