Alexander Edward!
Yesterday was... glorious. :)
Alexander Edward, to be known as Xander, was born yesterday evening. Chris came and picked me up from Porvo and I got to go see my new brother. Xander is so... amazing! (What can I say? I suppose it's something that runs in the family... ;)) He was so small... He seemed so fragile. I was almost afraid of breaking him. :x He is truly the most beautiful baby I have ever seen in my life. (And I have seen some ugly babies in my day... and he is not one of them.) Wow. I'm so excited to get to know him... and to see him grow up. I wonder what he'll be like.
Siiigh.
And then Chris and I went to Dee's and had food and delicious hot chocolate. :) Admittedly, it was not the best hot chocolate I have ever had... because I have already designated that honor for The Brick Oven, in Porvo. But I am a big fan of hot chocolate in general... and I am a pretty big fan of that Chris guy. And it was a good time.
Honestly, I'm going to miss the dance partays Xander and I had when he was in utero... but hopefully, there will be many more to come. <3
