(no subject)
I'm so happy. I finally found a suitable job. I'm working at The Musician's Friend, taking inbound calls and providing customer service. The pay is good and the hours will work well for me, I think (though it may be the end of my social life :)). Anyhow, I mainly thought I'd tell you what my schedule will be like.
For the next two weeks, I'll have training from 8:00am to 4:45pm. After that, I'll be working four of the five weekdays, plus Saturday, with an eleven hour window of availability, meaning that they can schedule me anywhere between noon and 11:00pm. I should have somewhere between 35 and 40 hours a week. So aside from my day off, I'll be doing all of my playing in the middle of the night. xD (Yay, Chikin, let's be nocturnal!!) At least it won't be interrupting my already well-established sleeping schedule? :x
In other news... I'll be picking up Taylor's hours at the law office today. Mraaah. I'm not exactly looking forward to that. It's just so quiet. ;_; I'll definitely have to bring my mp3 player today.
I had really weird dreams last night. There were all sorts of people in them. And I dreamed that our family got a tiny little minpin puppy and a little kitten too (that was light grey with darker grey stripes on it). There were a bunch of people from my ward in the dream, and I was driving like a madman, and I don't know. I think my teeth weren't lining up right or something, but I dreamsed that I kept grinding my teeth so much that I eventually bit down so hard that one of my teeth cracked and then crumbled. And then I think one or two more teeth fell out. (I have issues about teeth. ;_; It was traumatic.) I think there was also something about driving through a fence and probably some sort of high speed car chase. Anyhow... I don't remember it all. But it was really weird.
Well, in a way I guess it's been good for me that Lisa and Connor have been gone, just because it's encouraged me to actually do stuff with other people. I've done stuff with Mauro once or twice. I actually called up that pseudoemo-kid, Trevor, and we went downtown, though I don't know if we'll hang out again. I called up Byron and went to a late-night movie. I even went over to the Marshes' house last night and played DDR with Zach for a couple of hours. It was actually fun. Yes, it's been good.
But I'll still be happy when they come home. :)
I found this book by complete chance, but even the title made me think of Chikin. :) The Accidental Asian.
Gargargargarg. My hair is still wet. I'm freezing and have goosebumps all over. My right foot is all prickly from having fallen asleep. And I need to go get ready for work. Talk to you later, though.
