Hey, wanna hear a funny story? It's called Harvard Business School inviting Kat "I want to work for a humanitarian non-governmental organization" Bawden to attend a week-long forum called Getting Global Strategy Right to help "align corporate strategy with the realities of globalization." So bascially, a lot of things I am adamantly against. Perhaps it was the Social Science with emphasis in International Studies and Global Development major that just screamed CORPORATE BUSINESSWOMAN.
But wait, there's more! Before receiving said letter and brochure (which only I somehow recieved), my day has consisted of studying for Poli Sci and "critically examining" the governments of just about every major country, watching "The Motorcycle Diaries," and reading "Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Would Cure the World." Just your average hating on corporate imperialism and its degradation of indigenous cultures and local economies. Ah, life is full of so many ironic hilarities! I hung the letter right above my Bulletin Board O' Inspiration. For humor and motivation.
Also, "King Kong" is A M A Z I N G. I highly suggest it. Life is radiant! I'm excited and motivated. And full of life.
