I have been sooo busy. I cannot wait until I get a break! Good news though - The 4-H Flash thing is pretty much done. The professor loved it. And, she wants it on the web so that anyone can access it. So, I just need to make a few minor changes and I will be done with it! woo hoo!

Judy wants me to do the 4-H Exploration Day one. That won't be for a while though. But, that's cool. I am getting my work out there.

On a bad note, I cannot figure out this stupid 3-D modeling thing. We are supposed to create a 3-D version of this rocking chair that is in this photo. I feel like I don't know enough to make it look perfect. I have the little manual and when I try to follow it, it doesn't work. So, I don't know what the hell I am doing wrong. It is due on Friday at midnight. The problem is the stupid computer lab with this software closes at 5 on Fridays...so that is not helpful. So, I will probably need to take time off of work during the day on Friday...which sucks, because I need the money...but at the same time, I need a recommendation letter from this prof. If I have a crappy rocking chair, he is going to be disappointed...which does not look good for me...so hopefully, I figure it out.

I have a funny story about 4-H. I was judging art for 4-H Communications Day on Wednesday. And these kids from this family submitted these photos..and the family must have been complete hicks. The kids were supposed to write a small essay on the back of the photo explaining how their photography relates to the theme "Youth Issues." And there are bunch of issues they could pick from, such as environmental issues, poverty, etc. And so one photo was of this girl sitting in a tire that was being dragged from behind a truck. And the girl wrote "Tire dragging is fun. It ain't safe, but us hillbillies like to do it." (literally, that is exactly what it read!). And then the other 2 photos the family submitted was of this truck driving/plowing into a bog. All these photos were penalized severely- The truck in the bog one for environmental implications of a vehicle destroying a natural environment. And the tire dragging one for safety issues and using the term "hillbilly." I was amused.
