This is not just a good look at the haunted man we all know Bruce is, but the real reason he won't use guns. Which we think about, but never really delve this deeply into, because we take it for granted "Batman no like guns."

Which, much like his No Metas And Also No Cyber Enhancements, makes no *sense*.

Unless, of course, you pull something like this.

One wonders what Bruce thinks of Alfred using guns, because it's canon that *he's* willing to.

I always figured the "no guns" rule was something like this, although I never articulated as clearly in my mind as you did on the page here.

Even the no-meta, no-cyber rule, I kinda get; the man is crazy and, in his cuckoo world, turning yourself in a meta-human would be a failure of sorts.

Alternatively, there's the issue of escalation. If Batman starts using a Thanagarian Shadow Harness, Joker might start taking cortext-enhancing drugs or something.
