1. Aquaman can actually be a credible threat. Yes, I know, it took me a little while to believe that, too.
2. My previous ideas of Slade's childhood are wrong. Wah. But! Slade has the coolest stepmother *ever*. And they flirt shamelessly. Like, all the time.
Yeah, DC? I thought it was supposed to be *fathers* and sons who had the 'sticky and hot' relationship going on, not stepmothers and sons.
3. Adeline may be a WiR candidate. This grieves me.
4. Slade is a way bigger manwhore than Dick. I'm pretty sure he's not actually a bigger manwhore than Ollie, though. He certainly cheats less.
5. Possibly Slade's weird family thing may come in part from his stepmother, who tried to kill her son and thought she'd succeeded... until he came back and killed *her*. This is me not asking what he'd done to make her try to kill him.
6. It was really stupid to have the major angsts in Slade's middle life -- Joey, Grant -- be the result of one guy with a very long-lasting grudge. No cookie for you, Wolfman.
7. 'Slade kills, but he's not a *killer*.'
Um. No. I call bull. The man is a killer. Sane, mostly, but definitely a killer.
8. Slade's serum drove Adeline and Rose crazy, but not him. This is because Slade's blood has a unique component which interacts oddly with the serum in question. There has never been a successful 'Deathstroke 2.0,' and this is *not* for lack of various people going so far as to attempt to *dissect him* trying.
Latent metahuman anyway y/n? Agent Orange messing with his DNA y/n?
9. Slade is also totally an Even-Numbered Robin. No, shut up, he IS.
10. He spends a *lot* of time naked. Or tied up. Or both!
And being tortured. That happens a lot, too.
