Five places that nobody notices Cass doesn't talk, for
fickle_goddess.
1. The dancing place -- club -- where everyone is happy, and she can watch them forgetting money and crime and regret and love.
2. Stephanie's grave. She speaks, but she does not talk.
I miss you, she says with everything in her body, and puts down the flowers Alfred gave her.
3. Titans East. They are focused on bragging and trying to hide the fear in their bodies. Cassandra only smiles when they ask who she'd kill in the Titans. And looks at Deathstroke, who knows.
4. Bludhaven's criminals. They notice that she is not Nightwing, that she is a she, and then they are unconscious. She does not wish to hear them think.
5. One of Gotham's libraries. Helena took her there. It hurt something in her, not to have Cass understanding the marks on paper like she understands the quiet joy in Helena's eyes when Cass makes it through a sentence in Dr. Suess.
Five things Tim never told Jack about in regards to his life as Robin, once the secret was out; for
cosmicastaway.
1. I was good at it.
2. I liked being Robin. When it wasn't driving me crazy.
3. Batman was never my father. It was always you.
4. The best things in my life have always been about Robin, or because of. Even Steph.
Even Dick.
5. You took me to the circus. You gave me Robin.
No one made me do this. No one chose me.
No one ever needed to.
Five shirts Tim never wears and will never throw away, for
chevauchee.
1. The Haly's Circus t-shirt his father bought him when he was three.
2. One of Kon's spare S-shirts from the Tower.
3. The shirt Steph made him as a joke, red and green and gold with Spoiler in black marker across the front.
4. The suit for his mother's funeral.
5. That utterly ridiculous shirt styled after one he'd seen Jason wear. Tim had purchased it because he'd seen Jason duck into a store and had needed an excuse to observe him; it wasn't really a store meant for eleven-year-olds, but he'd been quiet enough that no one kicked him out.
