Thank God none of my friends are this *stupid*.
One of my RL friends at school has a fourteen-year-old friend who gave birth to a son last week. She is keeping the baby. She is FOURTEEN OMG YOU IDIOT YOU ARE NOT MATURE ENOUGH TO HANDLE A CHILD. She doesn't know how to be an adult, how is she supposed to teach someone else to?
And it was her mother who talked her out of adoption. You stupid people. I headdesk in your general direction.
And she has another friend who thinks she's all 'connected to the earth' and so she bases everything in her life on the life cycle of some random animal. She insisted her baby be born in spring. Lo and behold, on the first day of spring she had a healthy baby boy. Now, some other animal has its offspring stay with it for sixteen weeks, so come this boy's sixteenth birthday... the woman is dropping him.
Her fiance, the child's father, said that he didn't care as long as the boy's mother continued to support its father. Turns out this man is a bum, and she only slept with him because some distant ancestor was a famous animal researcher and she wanted her child to have a job that related to animals.
I -- what the crap, lady. Am I allowed to refuse to be human on the grounds of extreme stupidity shown by some its members?
