This & that...
Been quite the weekend, not least of all because today was spiritaway's JLPT exam, & I'd forgotten I had the wrong chip in my phone, so she couldn't call me to reconfirm our departure time. Soo~~~rrrryyyyy!! ^^;;
But everything turned out okay; we found the exam place very easily (thanks to a colleague who'd given me very easy directions, instead of the garbled map the exam body had provided) with lots of time to spare for a light lunch & some (more) revision for Sits. And then, it was time for me to wait for about more than 4 hours with a novel (which I finished in just under 4 hours, woo-hoo! haven't done that in a while...) with the others. I apparently counted as a "parent" as they ushered all the parents/drivers/family members into the cool air-conditioned room. From time to time though, I wished I'd brought Carus, if only to liven things up a bit by driving everyone else crazy during the long wait. Can you just imagine it, me, watching NCIS/Supernatural/Maou/Kabuto with my headphones on, giggling madly every few minutes? Sits would probably be banned for life unless she could swear she'd get someone else to drop her off next time. =^_______^=
I did a bit of cleaning up of my LJ memories last night. Omg. I hope I never have to do that again. Couldn't the LJ team devise a way to drag the entries to the correct/new keywords/groups instead of me having to open each link & editing them one by one? Arghhh. But at least they make better sense now. Got quite a few recs there, mainly slash, so don't say I didn't warn ya.
Which reminds me. I just read a really cool House/Silent Hill WIP. It's got 2 chapters right now, & mad_march_hare has this ability to suck you right into the scenes. Go! Read it! It's this-a-way...
