Dear Mr. Diesel & Mr. Walker...

I am now a very very happy fangirl. Bless you both. Any babies in the future?

XDDDD

I've just finished watching Fast & Furious 4. For the second time. Ahhh~~~ can't wait for the DVD to come out. This is good entertainment. Don't go in expecting Oscar material, & you won't be disappointed. This movie is about cars, racing/speeding, skimpily-clad females, adrenaline (lots & lots of it), revenge/payback, & making choices. Not necessarily in that order, either.

Let's get the small fry out of the way first. SPOILERS ALERT, DUH!!

Michelle Rodriguez (Letty) was especially hot in the opening scene. Jordana Brewster (Mia) had nothing much to do either, but she looked very pretty too. The bad guys' top honcho chick - forgot her & her character's name, the former Miss Israel - was okay lah; not much of an actor, & she's way too skinny. Whenever she turned sideways, I almost lost sight of her occasionally. Really. (Didn't help she wore a lot of black either.) Her last scene was quite disturbing for me, cos Dom was talking, but all I could see was her arm/biceps flexing, & all there was was bone.

The cars, oh the cars. My favorite this time is Brian's blue Skyline, which he rammed down an embankment (he said "Sorry, car" before doing it, so sweet!), & Dom later blew up with his Chevelle. Yeah, I'm lookin' atcha, Mr. Toretto. =__= I like this Skyline rather than the one in FF2 I think cos this one had no ugly decals & crap on it. And the blue was soooo nice... *pats*

And the boys, yes yes, the boys. After five years, Brian's lost his starry-eyed naivete when dealing with Dom. He's older & somewhat (but not always) wiser, quieter, & his past actions have taken a toll on him, & it shows. He starts to show some of his original cheekiness much later on, after some adrenaline & re-exposure to Dominic. Dom, on the other hand, started out full of life & vigor, slowly losing it after Letty's death & during his quest for revenge.

I could go on & on & on...so I'll just list my top six favorite moments (in no particular order):

1) When Brian pouted told Dom he owed Brian a ten-second car after blowing both of theirs up, Dom broke into one & presented it to Brian. Who had this little shy, surprised but pleased smile on his face as he looked at Dom & then the car. I can see why though; Dom gave him a glorified station wagon! He wants Brian to be his wife & stay safely at home, only going out to ferry the kids to school & pick up groceries. ... SoccerMom!Brian...

2) Both Dom's & Brian's separate opening scenes; showed how different their worlds had become. No less intense than the other, but still, speaks volumes.

3) Dom showing up at the baddies' club & the first thing he zeroes in on is Brian, leaning over the pool table to take a shot. (No sense of self-preservation, that boy. ^^;;) And Brian then immediately puppy-ing after him. XD

4) The tunnel scenes. 'nuff said. Also, racing with GPSes; LOL!!

5) Brian, injured & about to be killed by Letty's killer the same way he injured & killed her, & Dom charging in to the rescue. And then he was all concerned & soothing with gut-wounded Brian. (Before going all dry humor on him.) ♥♥♥ I think I forgot to breathe the first time I watched this entire scene. XDDDD

6) In the final scene, I think it was a nice touch that Brian came for Dom in Dom's original Charger. And when he revved that beast, & Dom heard, & smirked, & the movie ended, my heart yelled Destiny!! & was satisfied. =*____*=

I think I might go see this a third time, if only to see Paul Walker have almost no chemistry with the women around him, & then practically glowing when you-know-who pays him some attention. orz =^__________^=

A word of warning: Be careful not to drink/eat when the title comes up in the beginning. "Pantas & Garang 4" made me choke on my popcorn. XPPPP
