YAY!!
I am SCA authorized to fight in tournaments!!! I demonstrated knowledge of rules and skills in fighting. Fought in a small tournament today which was more like practice for the other people since i wasn't a valid candidate. The real tourney is next weekend.

I was way out classed today and took a pretty good beating from the advanced fighters. But the Marshal and the other fighters only had good things to say about me. I have good footwork, perry and attack. I need more work on blocking with my hand and calling good loud "good hits". In the grand scheme of things that is a small amount of stuff to work on. I mean they really told me you are on your way to being a great fencer. i'm going to work my ass off like crazy to get there.
