*ahem*
So I haven't posted in for-fraeking-ever, which is nothing new to this poor little journal. Before I run down in bullet format, I'm sorry for the couple'a people who have left comments when I didn't bother checking anything other than my friends' page to see community updates. If you're reading this and commented, please comment on this so I can at least know you still care. >__<;
Bullet-point rundown:
- College, year two, and it is well. Busy, but I'm alive.
- My roommate this year is pretty fantabulous
- I have a fish now (or rather, me and the roomie bought it). Betta fish, a girl, we named her Iris. She is ADORABLE. Like a puppy. It's weird.
- I'm in major coursework now - Illustration, since the major change. You know, last post. >>; But I am LOVING it. Even the stuff I hate I enjoy. Does that make sense?
- And the English minor is so far not kicking my ass.
In boy news...
- Broke up with the boy in May. It was a mutual break. For note, it isn't wise to purposefully behave like a jackass to get your girlfriend to break up with you. Just sayin'.
- I've now dumped all my woe and weirdness on the male best friend (who is second only to my idkbff).
- And it's turned to this point where we both like each other...a lot. This isn't exactly new. But I'm a derp and got myself into the same situation as first boyfriend - that is, he doesn't live here. Probably the most considerate words he's said to me were "I don't want you to get burned again".
- So in short, no boyfriend on the immediate horizon. Unless something springs up here (HA!).
In fan-nerding news...
- Been REALLY into Doctor Who ever since season 5. Srsly. Love it. Probably too much.
- MST3K has kinda fallen to the backburner. I'm still pre-ordering boxsets and having Movie Sign and proudly quoting it and all, but yeah, it's been nudged aside by a Time Lord and his companions.
- Found out, however, that with a screenname like "Kataoi" and being involved in obscure fandoms like DW and MST3K that probably would never meet otherwise, if you find people who do crossovers, they most likely know who you are.
And I probably have more to say, but I'm procrastinating on studying for a sociology test, which I shan't do no more. (What?)
