Alright, so I haven't posted anything at all, blame it on my procrastination problems. There are so many reviews and things I want to write, but I just can't find the energy to do so. Growing up is such a b*%$#. But that's ok too since there are a lot of benefits to growing into an adult.
Ok...anyways......I just, as the title might suggest, have a rant about certain thing that happen when you buy things or get member ships. Ever felt screwed over? Manipulated? YOU BET!
I mean, these places just think we're plain stupid or something.
Anyone know a magazine by the name of SHOJO BEAT: Manga from the Heart? Well if you do and if you are soon to renew, GREAT FOR YOU!
I've been a member of the magazine since they started back in July of 2005. That is like almost three years! When I subscribed my price, " Limited introductory price" was of $29.95 and now, I have to pay 34.99 every time I have to renew. WHY? In all my time with that magazine, members have had absolutely nothing that would distinguish them from non-subscribers. The only convenience is having it delivered to your door.
I've been subscribed to other magazines and most have been faithful to the original price I've subscribed for. The only exception; Shojo Beat.
What bothers me besides not getting a better renewal price, is all that bull they feed you in order to get your renewal money; especially if I can get 24 issues for $56.40 so that I won't have to hear from them in 2 years.
And so I've wondered WHY!!!!!!
If I renew, it is because I like the compilation of mangas (and VIZ take it sweet shi$&* time publishing the manga). So why, why do I like this torture?
Anyone familiar with iTunes card? Comes in various denominations? Hey, I'll admit you get a pretty good service, but DAMNIT! If iTunes has music from all over the world Why, OH Why are we confined to just our county! When I visited iTunes Japan, Germany etc... They had their music selection plus a little bit of ours. I would just like a bit of DIVERSITY for once!
But oh well. I just needed to get it off my chest.
