So yeah... Work sucks.
I don't think I'm gonna finish out my year at Kids Voting as their Americorps/Vista. This sucks, because it means that I won't be able to earn the educational award for completing my whole year of service. But on the other hand, I want to be able to start attending my pre-med classes THIS FALL is possible. And I can't do that while in Americorps/Vista.
Also my job right now sucks. I'm not doing anything. I painted my nails and am writing this at work today. We have a meeting with UofL on Monday, and if it goes well I might stay on for a while, but if if doesn't? I'm looking for another job. I know this isn't a great time to look for work (and I intend to find a job before I quit here) but seriously, this is pathetic. I have no supervisor at work, I'm not doing anything, and the local branch of americorps/vista is run by a bunch of incompetents.
So yeah... That's the way the cookie crumbles. I'm actually kinda hoping the meeting on monday falls through, because baby, I want OUT.
