He wooed me with flowers, kisses, soft words. I loved him; he adored me. I made myself blind.
You never really know a person until you’re married to him.
I didn’t know that he had a friend and a job he would always put first, how easily he falls into love.
I didn’t know I would come third. He didn’t know how much I needed to come first. We didn’t know each other.
Or that there was no room for me.
And I sit here tonight...again...alone. Wondering how much longer I’ll continue to sign my name ‘Julie Wilson’.
