I keep saying I will update when I am either drunk or on a fannish high. I am neither right now, but I feel my eljay has been rather neglected lately.
I can't decide what to talk about first - the fact I have finished my degree and gotten my classification, or the pure crack that was Doctor Who on Saturday night.
Oh hell, real life first - I got a 2:1 (that is like, for those not in the know the second best thingie you can get), so I am quite chuffed. Not only that, but they gave us strawberries and pimms with our results, so it was very nice. I don't get my break-down until I graduate on the 20th, so I won't find out how I did in my dissertation (on Firefly) until then.
Watching 'Last Of The Time Lords', Sara and I agreed, was far more climatic than getting our results. Does this make us geeky losers, or just apathetic toward the end of life as we know it? I do not know.
But yes, DW was very exciting, especially as I was unspoiled. I was all OOOOO about Jack being the Face of Boe, and I phoned my Mum afterwards to be shocked with her, and she was like, "Who is the Face of Boe?"
The man from Life On Mars was very good, and when he was shot I was like, Oh, well I guess he didn't want to be in a whole series, but even a regenerated Master I would quite like shagging the Doctor in team!TARDIS. I was a bit miffed he didn't regenerate, but then it was all sad and good, and I expect the ring means he'll pop back to cause mayhem next season finale.
Also, I was very sad Martha appeared to be leaving, but I am glad to hear she will be back, in DW and Torchwood.
I heard people pondering about a Martha-meeting-BtVS crossover, but because my brain is mostly about Supernatural nowadays, I really want to write Martha/Dean. I think I might do so, despite the fact that a) no one would read it, and b) I have not written anything remotely resembling fiction in a fairly long time.

goodreads.com the other day, so I swiftly signed up, as it seems like a fairly nifty site. Anyone else have an account? I am listed under "Katharine Hubbard". Actually, since I have noticed quite a few people sign up, I'm also on facebook if anyone cares to add me there.
I have quite a bit more to prattle on about, but this is quite lengthy already, so I will talk about my edible woman another time.
