One Piece Logpose
Almost finished!!!
The amount of work I put into making the three pieces (left clip, center base, right clip) was pretty goddamned amazing. It's all custom fabricated parts. The bracelet sides are a mix of pvc and bondo, sanded and shaped to what I wanted. The center piece is mdf that has been routed inside and out, top and bottom. The only thing holding it together in some places is the bondo. Also, if you have no idea what this is, here's a video of it. Just pause it at 00:04.
I originally was going to paint it tan with brown "grain lines" and make it look more cartoony, but I really like playing around with this new wood grain technique, and a LOT of the compasses I looked at for research had old stained, oiled wood either on them, or were in an old wooden box.
