Okay, some details....

Perrywinkles was having a sale one day when I was up at the mall, so I went in and browsed. There was one ring I really liked, it was small and tiffany cut. I had them write the number down, went home and said to Rob ".... just in case." Well, he took the hint. Sunday we were lying on the couch snuggling and he said why don't we go down stairs where's there's more room. When I walked into the room he was just lying on the bed, so I snuggled next to him and he had the box hidden under his clothes. I opened it, did the jaw dropping thing, and then he shyly asked if I'd marry him. And I said yes! He originally was going to put it in his toolbox and ask me to get a tool, but he couldn't wait. I was hoping for Christmas, but thought it would be longer since last week he told me they'd sold it and I'd have to pick out a different one. For some reason, he neglected to tell me he's the reason they'd put it on hold. Yup, so there it is, my big day. 
There's no immediate plans yet. We want something small, just a summertime berbuque with family and friends with a justice of the peace since we're not religious. We'll probably wait a year or two until we have a house, it would be a little awkward being married and living in his grandparents basement. But I'm a litlle closer to having parasites and the ring is beautiful.
