So today while I'm cooking dinner, Mel walks into the kitchen with Sam and says "Sam's bleeding."
I say "What?!?" and turn from the stove. Sure enough, there he is with blood running down his chin.
After several minutes of trying to get him to open his mouth long enough to see anything, and then getting a flashlight 'cause its dark in there, I finally figure out that he has cut his upper gums with his one bottom tooth.
Not that this seemed to bother him. He didn't cry the whole time we were poking him, and after we stopped, I heard him make this noise like he was grinding his teeth. It made me shudder and want to stop him RIGHT AWAY.
So I stuck a washcloth in his mouth for him to bite on.
and THAT made him cry.
But he stopped grinding his tooth into his gum and it stopped bleeding pretty quickly.
I'll be sooo happy when he has all his teeth in.
