I just want to make it clear that, even before BBC's Sherlock came out, I kind of pictured Lestrade as the silver fox type. Now, rereading A Study In Scarlet, it is driving me NUTS that Doyle keeps referring to the man as "ferret-like" ... bad author! Stop screwing up my mental images. This is not the face of a ferret!
