All Hallow's Read - Fanfiction Style
So, you may or may not have heard of All Hallow's Read. It's been floating around Tumblr for some time now, and I have to say I ADORE the idea. Unfortunately, I don't have access to much by means of English language books, scary or otherwise. In it's place, I decided to go for the next best thing - fic recs.
Now, I can't say I have a ton of horror fics favorited, but here are my faves. I do go in for the soul scaring kind of horror, though, so read at your own risk.

Why is it awesome? I absolutely adore the child-like logic. This is my kind of twisted - the kind that treads so close to home that it lingers in your brain for weeks on end.

Why is it awesome? There is but a single chapter, but a glorious chapter it is. This is one of those hardcore horror stories - the kind that creeps under your skin and makes a home there, doing all it can to frell with your head. The rabbit hole has no stairs. It has no stairs. Worst Nightmare

Why is it awesome? The main character's worst nightmare come to pass. It's like Dollar Bills, only with a considerably less... fantastical setup.

Why is it awesome? This fic is the worst nightmare that Danny never knew he had. It's not meant to be scary, far as I can tell, but it is horrifying in its own right.
