Stretching patent leather
Has anybody had any success stretching patent leather shoes? I bought an awesome pair of Cole Haan shoes (see pic) for a pretty good deal but the problem is they are too small. Since I have narrow feet I bought a narrow size. Usually that's not a problem but I probably should have gone up a 1/2 size in length. Damn!
I know patent is tricky to stretch - but should I try getting it done? Or should I just try to sell them? These shoes usually run about $250 since they have the Nike air sole in them but I got them just under $100. I'd prefer to keep them since they would be great for an office but if they don't stretch I'm afraid I'll have to sell. Any interest? They are size 8N. Probably would fit a 7.5 or a true best. I'm somewhere between 8 and 8.5
