Chapter 11
The Truth
"The reason the two of you can't play those parts anymore is..." Mrs. Akanishi turns toward Mrs. Kamenashi for her to finish.
"The reason is that our two families are descendants of the two lovers. The Aka clan is part of the Kamenashi family line and Shi clan is part of Akanishi family line."
"That and our two families are also related to each other. This part of the story is not found in any history book." Mrs. Akanishi finished.
"What do you mean we're related? The Lovers were never married so how could our ancestors be related to each other?" Jin asked.
"The daughter of the Shi clan and the son of the Aka clan had a child together. During the long separation before their last meeting is when their son was born. The sad part is that the son of the Aka clan had no idea he had become a father." Mrs. Kamenashi explained.
"How did the daughter get away with having her son and not being killed?" Kame questioned.
"The daughter's mother knew and supported the two lovers secretly in her heart. When she found out her daughter was pregnant she told her daughter that once it was born she would raise it as her own. The daughter agreed even though the thought of giving her baby was painful to her." Mrs. Akanishi explained.
"With the two lovers having a child and everything does that mean that Kazuya and I are cousins?" Jin asked.
"In some way yes you are and in other ways your not. The blood of the Shi and Aka clans still runs through our veins, but it has thinned out so much that it is hard to detect. There are probably many people in this city that have the blood of those two clans, but we are not related to them. Do you see what I mean by how we are and are not related?" Mrs. Akanishi answered.
"I think so. We are related because we have a little bit of the Shi and Aka clan's blood with in us. We are not directly related because our two families have no relatives other than the two lovers in common. Am I right?" Kame stated.
"Yes sweet heart you are." Mrs. Kamenashi said with pride in her voice.
Jin looked at Kame with surprise and wonder in his eyes. Kame sensed Jin starring at him and turned toward the boy. He saw how Jin was looking at him and he gave the older boy his most beautiful smile. The two mothers saw the look passing between their sons and their expressions were of joy and worry. They were glad that Jin and Kame were getting along, but also worried about the consequences of the two liking each other.
"There's more to the story than the two lovers having a child. The lovers' last meeting with each other was when the son of the Aka clan found out he was a father." Mrs. Kamenashi began.
"When the two were found and their families told, the war was called off. The daughter's mother, while holding her "son" put a curse on both families. The curse was 'when two descendants of the Shi and Aka clans meet and fall in love their destiny is to be the same as the original lovers.' Sadly the curse is true for many lovers from those two clans who have gotten together have died the same way as the original lovers." says Mrs. Akanishi.
"There hasn't been any sign of the curse reoccurring for hundreds of years until you two. The only difference between you two and the others is that you get taken over by the spirits of the lovers. Mrs. Akanishi and I believe that because of this difference the lovers are trying to break the curse."
After the mothers were done speaking Jin and Kame sat in silence with shock written all over their faces they then got up and headed back up to Jin's room. "Jin you don't think that we love each other only because of this curse do you?"
Jin pulls Kame into his arms and says to him "No Kame I don't believe that for we loved each other before we learned of the curse." They continued to hold each other until their blood starts to move faster and they kiss. Their kiss did not start out slow, but hot and passionate. Jin's teeth scrape Kame's bottom lip that causes Kame to gasp and grants Jin access to Kame's hot, wet mouth. A tongue war ensued both wanting to dominate the other. Jin won of course. Jin loved the taste of Kame's mouth. His lips always tasted sweet like honey. Jin rips his mouth from Kame's and attacks his neck. Jin bit, licked, and sucked on Kame's neck leaving is mark on the one he loves.
"Jin... nhh... should we...mmm.. should we be doing this...ahh...with our moms downstairs?" Kame got out between gasps of pleasure.
"I don't care. I want to make love to you now." Jin growls against Kame's neck sending shivers down is back. Jin then rips open Kame's shirt sending buttons flying. He then pushes Kame on to the bed and crawls on top of him. Jin leans down and captures one of Kame's nipples in his teeth biting gently. He runs his tongue along the sore, tight nub to sooth it. This action causes Kame to arch his hips up and grind against Jin. This move caused them both to moan out in pleasure.
Kame runs his hands up and down Jin's still clothed chest and then up under his shirt. He takes Jin's shirt off and leans up to run his tongue and mouth along Jin's chest. Kame grabs Jin's head and drags his mouth down to his. They both drink in their lovers sweet taste. Kame feels Jin's hand running his chest to his pants. Jin grasps Kame's erection through his pants and starts rubbing his hand up and down causing a loud moan to erupt from Kame's mouth into Jin's.
Pants are then quickly removed and Jin thrusts a finger into Kame's tight hole. As Kame adjusts Jin adds a second and then a third finder hitting Kame's prostate over and over again. "Jin...ahh...Jin now...nhh...I need you now!" Jin removes his fingers and thrust into Kame in one fluid motion. Jin covers Kame's moth with his and takes Kame's moans into himself. "Holdon let me ask Kame. Hey Kame Ryo was wondering if we want ot surprise Ueda by going on a double date with them tonight. What do you say?"
"Sounds like fun. I'm in."
"Yo Ryo Kame says okay. What time do you want to meet up and where?"
"Meet us at the park in front of the fountain at 6 o'clock."
"Alright see you there." Jin hangs up and looks at Kame who had fallen asleep. Jin set his phone alarm for 4:30 so that the both of them had time to get ready for the double date an quickly fell asleep.

"Ryo what is this surprise you have for me?" Ueda asked for the fifteenth time that day.
"I'm not telling you, so stop asking." was the sharp reply. Ryo and Ueda walk to the fountain hand in hand. Ryo was the first to see Jin and Kame waiting there for them.
"I wonder what Kame and Jin are doing here? Do you think they are on a date as well?" Ueda wondered. Ryo didn't respond just smiled and walkied up tp Kame and Jin.
"Hey you're late. You told us to meet you here at six and you are twenty minutes late." Jin complained.
"Shut Up Jin!"
"Wai., Ryo is this my surprise, a double date?"
"Yeah this is my surprise, so Surprise!"
"I love this surprise. We get to date in public and we get to be with our friends. I love you Ryo." Ueda embraces Ro and gies him a very passionate kiss.
"Oi. Break it up you two." Jin calls out.
"Sorry. Okay let's get this date started." All four of them headed off and their date begins. They windowed shopped and Jin and Ryo won prizes for Kame and Ueda at the arcade. They all stop at this romantic looking restaraunt and they enjoy a fine meal in a good atmosphere. When they finished their meal it was 10 o'clock and Jin and Kame had to head home.
"We had fun tonight. Thanks for inviting us." Kame said.
"Thank you for coming and being part of the surprise for Ueda." said Ryo.
"Let's do this again some time." Ueda suggested.
"Yeah definitley. Well we got to go see you two Monday. Ja ne." Jin and Kame then head home leaving Ryo and Ueda to continue their date alone.
"Um... Ryo would you like to sleep over tonight?" With that Ryo and Ueda head to Ueda's house to have a "sleep over"."

Chapter 12
Their Destiny
It was the week of the play and Jin, Kame, Ryo, Ueda, and Yamap were all eating at a ramen shop after school. Jin and Kame had just finished telling about their relation to the two lovers and the curse that is on their families.
"Are you saying that do to this curse you and Jin are going to be killed?" Yamap asked.
"Well we don't know because our moms said we are different from the other lovers that have had the same fate as us." Kame answered.
"What is so different?" Ueda asked.
"The difference is that Jin and I are taken over by the original lovers' spirits and we see what trully happened to them."
"Okay so your different in that way, but it does not mean that you are still not ging to die more violenly than the others." Ryo stated.
"You could be right. That's why we were wondering if you guys could help us to change our destiny and break the curse on our families," Jin said.
"Ryo and I will help you and keep an eye on you guys." Ueda volunteered.
"Same goes for me." Yamap said.
throughout the week Yamap, Ryo, and Ueda kept an eye on Jin and Kame. There was no sign of them being in danger and nothing weird happened to them either. Jin and Kame were bacoming nervouse because the spirits had not taken them over once during that week and they were starting to think that their destiny was to die. Opening night had come and everyone was rushing around getting ready and adding last minute touches to the set and some costumes. "Has anyone seen Kame?" Jin asked Yamap and Ueda.
"I saw him going to change, but haven't seen him since." Yamap answered.
"Has anyone seen Ryo?" Ueda asked.
"I'm right here." Ueda turned and punched his boyfriend lightly on the arm before jumping into his arms. "Sorry for being late. Archery club went over, hint why I have my bow and arrows."
"Well you're here now, so go change we are starting in five minutes." Ueda told him giving him a kiss and a shove in the direction of the changing rooms.
Every minute detail was taken care of and the curtains rose on the first scene. The stage was set for the "peace talks" and for the introduction between Ryo's character and Kame's character. The lights dimmed,the curtain rose, clapping was heard, and the play began. The two Lords, Yasuda and Koyama, come out dressed in samurai outfits and kneel in front of each other on equal ground. They begin to discuss their truce between the Aka and Shi clans. The Aka clans Lord, Yasuda, gets up and exit stage left while Ryo enters rom stage right. The Shi clan Lord, Koyama, talks of the reason that Ryo's character was summoned. "My boy I would like to offer my daughter's hand in marriage to you. Do you except?" Koyama asks.
"My Lord it would be my honor to except your daughter's hand in marriage." Ryo answers.
"Lovely! Now let me introduce my daughter to you. Daughter come in and meet you fiance." It was the first time anyone had seen Kame in his costume. Kame came on the stage walking slowly head bowed. His hair was tied back loosely in a ponytail that trailed down his back. He wore a pink kimono with hite flowers on it. On his feet he wore the shoes that look like socks. In the wings Jin was shocked at how beautiful Kame looked. He couldn't take his eyes off of the boy and lamost missed his cue to go on.
Kame and Jin both walk from the opposite sides of the stage. They meet up in the middle in front of the fake temple on the stage. Kame lifts his head to look Jin in the eyes. They both didn't expect it to happen after all the time they were left alone. The spirits took them over once more. Kame and Jin look like they are really acting to the crowd and the rest of the crowd, but what Jin and Kame see is the lovers not themselves.
"Excuse me sir is this the way to the temple Kurama?"
"It is. Are you newly visiting this temple my lady?"
"Yes I am. My father has come to this part of the country to talk business with the head of the Aka clan."
"Your father is here to talk to my father. May I inquire as to who your father is and what his business is?"
The woman is looking at the man in front of her and answers his question. "My father is the head of the Shi clan. His buisness is to ask your father to join lands with ours that way all of Japan will belong to the two of them without war being waged over it."
"My father would never do that, but your father is inclinedd to try. Since you are on your way to the temple why don't I take you the rest of the way since I am heading there myself?"
"Thank you I would appreciate it very much." The man and woman head down the path to the temple chatting idly all the while enjoying the beautiflu day.
The play to the audience seemed to be normal acting, but Ryo and Yamap knew what had happened to their two friends. Ryo and Yamap became more alert to any danger that may present itself. The play went on and Jin and Kame continued to be under the control of the spirits.
It was the third time that Jin and Kame's characters were to meet each other.
"I have to go back now. I wish I could stay longer, but my father will get worried if I stay any longer."
"I know, but I still want you to stay a little longer. Our visits together are so short and far between. I see more of Tomo than I do you" said the man referring to the messenger that has become the two lovers' friend.
"I am really sorry, but my father is very strict on how long I stay from the house while we are living here."
"Break the rules just this once and stay a little longer with me" the man pleaded.
Looking sad at having to disappoint her love, the woman replied "I'm sorry I must go." She turns to go when she is yanked into her lover's arms in a loving embrace. They slightly draw away from each other and slowly bring their lips together in a light kiss. The kiss then deepens with all the emotions that are flowing through them spilling out into that one kiss, their first of many.
The two lovers continued to visit each other at the temple everyday. The last time they meet they are spied on by the daughter's finace and he runs to the Lord of the Shi clan. "My Lord I have some news about who your daughter has been seeing at the temple everyday."
"Well who has she been seeing everyday?"
"She has been seeing the son of the Aka clans Lord my Lord."
"What?! Guards go bring my daughter back and bring her straight to me at once." The guards run off and a little while later they bring the daughter in to her father.
"Father what is the matter that you had to bring me back so suddenly?"
"My daughter I have been informed that you have been seeing the son of the Aka clans Lord. Is this true?"
"Yes I have seen him at the temple. That is the only time we have seen each other father. I promise."
"Even though you have only seen him at the temple I am forbidding you to ever see that boy ever again."
"But father..."
"No buts my word is final. From now on you will be taken to the temple by your finace when he is not in on the meetings and with guards as well."
"Yes father. May I be excused?"
"You may." The daughter then gets up and leaves. she heads to her room where she writes a letter and hands it to the messenger boy Mineji to deliver to the son of the Aka clans lord. This is the start of the exchange of the many letters between the two lovers during thier "seperation" and the secret meetings in the forest between the two camps.
Intermission came and as the curtain lowered the spirits left Jin and Kame. As the spirits left their bodys the two boys legs became weak and they had to be supported by Ryo and Yamap. "Hey are you two alright." Yamap asked.
"Yeah, we'll be alright. We're kind of used to the weakness." Kame then turns toward Jin. "Jin why are they taking over us now? They even used us longer than usual and I'm afraid that we won't be able to live through their next possession of us."
"Don't worry Kame we're strong and we have the will to live. Pi, Ryo thank you for keeping watch over us. Please be careful yourselves because we don't know if they will use you two as well." Jin said.
"Just take care of yourself and Kame Bakanishi and don't worry we will be fine." Yamap answered. Intermission was over ans the battle scenes started off the second half of the play. As Kame and Jin stepped on the stage again they were taken over by the spirits once more.
"My dear Mineji, I know I'm asking you to do something dangerous for me, but can you please deliver this letter to my beloved?"
Yamap then says his line "Yes my lady I will do as you wish. i will set off as soon as the sun is down and the guards chang for the night shift."
"Thank you Mineji you are a great friend to us both." Yamap thens runs across the stage and stops and kneels in front of Jin. "My Lord I carry a message from thy Lady." Yamap then hands Jin a piece of paper that is supposed to be the letter and says his line "Mineji give my reply to thy Lady that I will meet her tonight in the same spot we always meet at."
The last scene had finally come and nothing dangerous had occured. The audience was seeing the two lovers saying thier farewells to each other for the daughter was being sent home away from the war.
"Do not be sad my love we will meet again" said the man sooftly so that his lover could hear.
"I...i...c-can't help it. I love you so much I don't want to be away from you. Ever" said the woman crying soflty.
"I don't want to be away from you either, my love," he spoke, trying to reassure her all the while wiping away tears, "but what you did was dangerous. Sending a messenger to me this late and wanting to see me was stupid. Even though the messenger is my friend and yours, you still put our lives and his in serious danger."
Even though she knew he was right it did not make the truth easier to swallow and she started to cry even harder.
"Please my love don't cry i can't stand to see you cry. I don't meen to sound harsh, but i was scared that if I couldn't get to you here then..." he trailed off listening intently.
The man's eyes sddenly became dark with awareness. "RUN!" The man yelled, grasping at his lovers wrist. They both ran as fast as they humanly could, and sucked refuge in a nearby cave. The man looked around to make sure it was safe before turning back to look his lover in the face, stained with tears.
"Its okay now we are safe. The men seem to be looking for us, but they shouldn't fnd us in here." They held each other tight so as to reassure each other that they were okay.
As the scene neared the part where Jin and Kame's characters are to die Ryo becomes very stiff. His eyes become glazed over and he walks over to his bow and arrows he brought with him from the archery club practice. Yamap notices Ryo's weird behavior and he steps in front of him.
Both of them niether heard or saw the shadow of the man poised with an arrow standing just ot the side of the opening of the cave. The man then let the arrow fly toward his two targets. The man looked down between them, looking at the pools of blood on their clothes. The arrow had passed through the man, stricking his lover in the gut. They both collapsed, the blood loss from the arrow taking its toll. The last thing that either of them said was "I love you."
What Jin and Kame see and what happens on stage differs. Ryo's arrow flys past them only grazing their arms. The curtain is lowered and then raised to show an arrow connecting Jin and Kame lying on the ground dead. Applause erupts throughout the hall and continues as the curtains lower once more.
Kame and Jin were unmoving and Yamap and Ryo rush over. The arrow was truly connecting the to, but had gone to deeply that it was fatal. Yamap calls over Massu and has him quickly hand chop the arrow in half. Yamap grasps the arrow in Kame's side and Ryo grasps the arrow in Jin's side. "On the count of three we pull out the arrows." Ryo nods in agreement still shocked at what happened. "One, two, three!" Both of them pull the arrow out of their friends. With the help of Massu and Tegoshi Yamap and Ryo were able to carry Jin and Kame out of the hall, into two cabs and to the hospital.
Jin and Kame were rushed into surgery to repair any damage the arrow had done and to stop the bleeding. Ueda came a few minutes later after they arrived and enveloped Ryo into his arms. That was when Ryo broke and started crying. The tears not stopping until the doctor is heading their way to inform them of their friends' conditions.
"Doctor how are Jin and Kame doing?" They all say in unison.
"Akanishi-kun and Kamenashi-kun are out of surgery and are resting comfortably in a private room of their own." Said the doctor.
"May we see them?" Ryo asks.
"Yes you can go see them. Let me show you the way." The group follows the doctor to Jin's and Kame's room. "I can't garentee that they will wake up today, but if they do let a nurse know so that she can inform me." The doctor then steps out of the room leaving the friends alone together.
The doctor was right Jin and Kame did not wake up until the second day they were there. "Mmmm...What happened? Why am I in the hospital?" Kame murmers to himself voice weak. He looks over and sees that Jin is awake too and has that same questioning face as he does. Kame and Jin try to sit up and a sharp pain shoots up Kame's intire left side and Jin's right side. The pain is so great that they almosts pass out from it.
Five boys wake up at the sound of Kame's and Jin's whimpers of pain. Ryo and Yamap are the first ones by their sides. Ueda runs out to get a nurse. Kame opens his eyes and asks about what happened to them. Ryo bows his head and begins to explain. "When the last scene began I was possesed. I had grabbed my bow and arrows and was aiming to kill the both of you. The first arrow only missed you because Yamap shoved my hands away from you and the arrow only grazed you. I then punched Yamap unconcious and aimed once more for you two. That time my aim was perfect, but it was suddenly thrown to the side a little and only went into your sides a little. I snapped out of it after the arrow peirced the both of you and bent down to wake Yamap and we rushed over to the both of you."
The doctor then comes in and asks the five boys to wait out in the hall while he checks Kame's and Jin's wounds nd changes their bandages. Once the doctor is done the boys come back in and finds their two friends fast asleep.
Epilogue
It has been two weeks since Jin and Kame were released from the hospital. They are both over at Jin's house resting and studying for their English exam they have in a week. Both practically fall off the bed when the two lovers suddenly appear in front of them. They see that the spirits are smiling and holding hands.
"Wh... what's going on? Why are you two here?" Kame asks in a trmbling voice.
"We are here to apologize for what we have put the two of you through over these past weeks." The two spirits bow low in apology then straighten back up.
"My sons we are glad to see that you are doing well and are alive. This means that are job is over and the curse has been broken."
"We would like you to know that it was us that prevented the arrow from killing you. We separated from you and used our anger to sweep the arrow aside, but we did not knock it far enough away and it still pierced you. Please forgive us."
"We forgive you. If it wasn't for you we would not have been able to break the curse and secure our futures. We thank you for that. Aso you are the reason that Jin and I met in the first place."
"To show our gratitude toward the both of you we would like to give you something that know one has found in all the centuries they have been around." The man said.
To balls of light suddenly appear and Jin and Kame hold out their hands where the orbs hovered before they shattered and to katanas fall into Kame and Jin's hands. On the sheath of the katanas are the two crests of the Shi and Aka clans joind to make one. "They joining of the crests symbolize the coming together of the two clans and of our lover for each other." The woman explained.
"Please take care of them and never use them unless you absolutley have to." The man said.
Kame and Jin noded their heads and then bid the spirits goodbye as they were finally able to rest in peace. The two families were able to live without the worry of any of their children or other relatives being killed by that curse. Jin and Kame always remained together even though they sometimes fought and got on each others nerves on occasion.
