When i was a girl my 'hero" was Penthisilea, the queen of the ( Greek) amazons who was killed by Achilles, because she fell in love with him ( i always thought: how stupid of her ....;-))
later it was Medea for a while.....she is a wild woman too, but much smarter and more " controlled", kind of civilized version.
Lilith i only met when the astrologers found TWO stars at the same time that they named after her. And i went: wait a minute......WHY is this Lilith-myth popping up in the consciousness of people all of a sudden?
and i started researching it.
Lilith is the REAL Eve.....*g*
it's such a fascinating story.
According to the Bible God told Adam to " name the beasts" which is very obviously the cognitive function.
And as an opposite Lilith was connected to the instinctual/intuitive powers.
She was supposed to lie UNDER Adam, which would have meant she agrees that the cognitive function rules......she couldn't allow that and she didn't.
Eve did, Lilith NEVER allowed ANY male function rule her.
Judaism and Christianity ( as well as Islam) are deeply patriarchal religions based on the masculine/cognitive function.
From their perspective Lilith was a demon that they couldnt' control, which is correct. The cognitive function will never control intuition and intuitive powers.
And that's how Lilith was banned into the unconsciousness and the " nice" Eve showed up on the scene.
Some years ago when i was in contact with Pat - who is pretty intuitive sometimes - he started telling me about a "wild girl" that was part of me and that he could find in me.
I wasn't too pleased that Pat was able to " see" the wild girl part of me.
He was even dreaming about her quite a bit.
He was triggering " wild-girl-responses" from me constantly and then he couldn't deal with the intensity of it.......LOLOL
I do believe this ' wild girl" inside of me holds a lot of Lilith-energy.
And also Lilith-power of course.
I believe every woman has this Lilith part, but with most women it's buried DEEP, DEEP down...
i sense quite a bit of Lilith-energy not so far from the surface in you also........
