Author notes: Okay, so if you know this movie, great! If you don’t, well I’m not surprised, because I only stumbled on it completely randomly on TV. And it was utterly charming except for how Vernon rather got left out of the full happy ending (beginning). Hence this. I blame Andrew Scott.
