Bruce is kind of amused despite himself which seems to be his default reaction to Tony.

Okay, I know I already told you this was awesome, but this line right here? This epitomises exactly how I have always viewed Bruce and Tony, ever since the first time I watched Avengers. You managed, as per usual, to nail it.

(It's awesome on a second reading as well, by the way :D)

Hee, well I finally watched the first Avengers movie as it was on TV and was persuaded by naked!Bruce Banner. Bruce/Tony hits the same spot for me that Rodney/Radek did, but I'm also very enamoured by femdom feels I get from Pepper/Tony so this has ended up one of the very few threesomes I genuinely dig. Also, there's quite a lot of very excellent fic for it which is awesome.

Thank you for reading this originally and again! Your approval here is valued!

I'm very fond of indulgent femdom, Pepper, I have to admit (I don't know if its just my SPN roots talking, but its nice being in a fandom which embraces its het fic). I could cheerfully read quite a lot of Pepper-centric fic anyway. I kinda want to be Pepper when I grow up.

Threesomes-wise, I have almost entirely been won over by Darcy/Bucky/Steve. Because Darcy gets very little airtime, but I kinda feel like she has so much potential and I adore a lot of the places that fandom has taken her. That being said, I'm also very fond of WW2 era Steve/Bucky/Peggy (which I'm sure will make more sense to you once we have our moviefest :D)

There are some canon het pairings that I'm genuinely fond of and Pepper/Tony is one of them. Also, I genuinely cannot deal with het d/s unless it's femdom so...

I like Darcy from what I saw of her in Thor, and other movies. Largely because I really like the actress and 2 Broke Girls (humour is funny only 50% of the time but I really watch it for the femslash potential)

Hmmmm, out of interest, how much d/s het fic does that exclude for you?

I think the actress is pretty awesome, but even that has not been enough to get me to watch 2 Broke Girls (I have seen adverts and they make my hackles rise). I did, however, manage to find Kat Dennings/Chris Evans rps fic which was a thing of glory :D

Well I don't really read much het fic anyway so not that much I guess? It's just one of those things that I steer clear off and roll my eyes a lot on AO3 (there is a disturbing amount of x-rated mary sue rpf out there, just saying).

I'm not surprised about your hackles, the humour pretty dire at times. However, may I interest you in a delightful femslas fanvid of the show where you see all the best shippy moments without any of the awful dialogue? See here: http://obsessive24.livejournal.com/468981.html (season 1 only)

Ooooh, I may be interested in a link to that fic...

I didn't, and then Marvel happened. I think (ignoring all of the ranting that occurs in relation to Marvel's approach to women) that I really like the female Marvel characters (and they don't always feel like Mary Sue's, which is lovely).

Okay, so, see that was lovely. Because it has none of the awful, awful talking that happens in that show and just has the gorgeous girls being ridiculous with each other. Also, Kat Denning does have curves and looks like a real woman, and that makes me hearteyes at her quite a lot.

Your wish is my command:

There are some het pairings I like (hello Mulder/Scully foreverotpofmyteenheart) but yeah, slashers gonna slash. Strong female characters are still a minority so your recommendation is weighty...

I too am fond of Kat Dennings' curves ;)

Ooooh, the summary alone has me intrigued, thank you! I really wish I don't actually have to know anything about the actors because yeah, I don't really know anything about the actors.

Mulder/Scully never floated my boat, but then I lost interest in the X-Files after S1, so maybe that's why...

Marvel don't always get the characters right (see: the clusterfuck that is Natasha's "plot" in Age of Ultron), but when they do, then those girls are pretty awesome. Unlike some fandoms, Marvel fandom tends to love it's female characters a lot as well, so they get some good characterisations in fanfic.

I'm exceedingly fond of that particular author, I have to admit. Um, if you know that Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers, is from Boston and loves his dog, I think you're pretty much covered.

(Also, that Kat Dennings is dating musician Josh Groban, and that Natalie Portman played the female lead in the Thor films).

Off the top of my head, I think that sets you up enough for the fic to make sense :)

Mulder/Scully are the reason I got into fandom :D Predictably, I have ~FEELINGS~ about their return to the screen in Jan...

From what I've heard of AoU doesn't fill me with enthusiasm for watching it, I must say...

I read the fic (and its sequel) before I read this comment and it was pretty self-explanatory even without the notes. It was also INCREDIBLY ADORABLE, so thank you for the rec! <3

I...am largely ambivilent. I maywatch though, just to see what they've done.

Eh, there are some lovely individual character moments, but I don't think they handled the impact of Scarlett Johanssens pregnancy very well and both Bruce and Natasha got a...flawed showing. From a storytelling persepctive, it felt overcrowded and confused. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either, and I was hopeful for a lot more.

I thought you might like it :D
