Leitmotifs of the year:
Personally, I’m proudest of birds and bees and prison keys with Transition coming close second, and sing no songs except of restless blood a more distant third. All worked well in terms of the language and characterisation.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Lol, this is easy. birds and bees and prison keys and Transition. I totally get why though. They are small fandoms and rare pairings and femslash to the boot none of which translates to high readership or effusive comments.
Most fun story to write:
Bite the Night and Caricias because writing Strictly fic with pushkin666 is always fun. I really enjoyed writing parts of birds and bees and prison keys (while other parts were hard) but I wouldn’t call it fun as such…
Fluffiest story:
Both of the SGA fics were a bit fluffy. Oh and Finite too.
Most angsty story:
Haha oh man, all of them? restless song 1 & 2 were both full of angst and pining. Oh and Two-Heart Sound had angst of the more subtle kind.
Sexiest story:
Bite the Night and Caricias both had long (loooooooooooong) smoking hot sex scenes, no lie. However, I’d actually say Full Tang here. Because young wincest with knife-play trumps all, okay?
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Pfft *hand-wave* There’s very little I wouldn’t write. Erm, let’s say Courtship because I wrote more Masterchef fic and I didn’t really mean to. Sigh.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Hmm, Idk if anything really shifted my perception as such, more like helped me firm up the characterisation in my head. Two-Heart Sound Bilbo is now my head-canon Bilbo. And restless song 1 & 2 I basically wrote because I couldn’t find many fics at all that matched my head-canon about Nick and Monroe.
Hardest story to write:
birds and bees and prison keys because of some of the subject matter. Dream of Dragons 4 & 5 because holy twisted plot arch, Batman! I seriously still don’t know where that story is going to go. Except for one thing: Hathaway turns out to… Well. Guess I’ll just have to write and you to read it to find out :D
Biggest Disappointment:
Not finishing the restless song trilogy. I kind of even know what will happen but… Just need to write it. That’s about it really I guess. I could whine about not writing more fics but I actually wrote quite a bit and several of them are really long so fuck that. And I could whine about how my best writing is so underappreciated wha wha but meh, I knew that going in.
Biggest Surprise:
Writing in so many new fandoms.

Final instalment to restless song. Next (probably not final) instalment to Dream of Dragons. There’s several Strictly fics in wip state so some of those need to be finished. Oh and I should write some Bandom this year. I can’t believe I didn’t write any in 2014, for shame. And also, there’s a Person of Interest Reese/Finch story my very soul wants me to write about how Harold doesn’t think he’s a good dom (even though he totally is, just not stereotypical) and how Reese just wants Harold to own him, and how they both live to serve and protect. It’s total id fic but my very being yearns for it so I may just write it anyway.

- New fandoms! I wrote in four new fandoms I haven’t before: Grimm, Sherlock, Skyfall and The Hobbit. And I did art for Royal Pains. I also really got into Person of Interest toward the end of the year although the two fics for that were written in January so not in this round-up
- Old fandoms! I went back to SGA after years and years for the one last hurrah of sga_santa.
- Erm, idk if there’s any other overarching theme for this year. Beyond my usual angst, introspection and first times stuff :D
