Yep we definitely started the fandom :) Thank you very much for this hun, and yes cakes and things will be offered up as a thank you.

So first of all, I laughed and laughed that you wrote this for me because you know 'I'm not writing anymore Masterchef fic - just saying!' I'm sure you said that about a week ago...

But also thank you for writing this for me - it was definitely needed and yes it is a cheer up.

And you used all the things from this series, and the eyes. OMG the way John has been looking at Gregg this series. Squeals a little. I'm sad. I know. I... don't care.

And he cooks because it's the only way he can tell Gregg how he's feeling. Hah. There is so much cooking and baking in our fic isn't there.

Loved this particular bit - It goes on and it’s ridiculous and everyone probably notices, everyone but Gregg. Probably the whole god damn nation knows what’s going on because John’s stupid, hopeless courtship is broadcast on primetime TV. Not that it matters because Gregg remains cheerfully oblivious, eating John’s food and leaning in close to talk and putting a fucking hand on the small of John’s back to lead him through the door like you would for a date, and driving him insane in the process. And it’s all the worse because Gregg clearly doesn’t mean any of it.

Well possibly you started it and I was reluctantly dragged along because apparently I'm easy when it comes to courting via food. Someone pretend to be surprised.

I literally woke up with the first lines of this in my head and then had to write the whole thing on one sitting because it would not leave me alone. I blame you.

Yes, yes, I used the Hand on the Small of Back Guidance Move and Eyes of Hopeful Flirtiness and yes, I bloody well googled some of the recipes John had invented this series or in general and gah. So many cakes and other things are owed, just saying.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it and it cheered you up. I thought you would do a dance of gleeful ITOLDYOUSO because of this. Thank you for your enthusiastic comments and quoting stuff back at me of course, you know that makes me all coy like John :D
