This is so fucked up and yet fucked up in a way that they COULD be, you know? It makes so much sense that Mikey would bait their kills and they'd prefer the forest and that Gerard needs for it to be the same for Mikey. Ugh, their codependence slays me. Well done.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean; they are but a little sideways step from being exactly this and enacting their codependent morbid streak in a ways that leave blood behind.

Glad you liked it - everyone's ficlets were so lovely I felt a bit bad for like, idk, painting over everyone's rainbows with black and rust red crayons.

ahaha I love messed up and gory, so this as right up my alley. and it's always nice when people take the time to go through and point out the specific bits they liked (or didn't like) in my fic--I'm not always on my game, but I try to do the same when I read other people's stuff. :D

Heh, I tend to write a fair bit of fluff and happy endings because I'm a hopeful romantic at heart really, but sometimes it's good to let the darker stuff out as well.
