"The people live in a land of chaos. The line of Kings has brutally ended in a bloody war where brother killed brother in the pursuit of power. Now Creon has inherited the throne and taken absolute power upon himself. When his niece, Antigone, challenges his orders by trying to bury her brother, she is sentenced to death. Antigone stands strong in the face of her death sentence and only after pleas from his son Haemon, does stubborn Creon amends his orders. But it's too late: Antigone is dead, Haemon kills himself in anger, Creon's wife kills herself in sorrow. Creon is left alone to realise his mistakes."
